  12. Instructions for upgrading from a previous release are given below.
  13. Please see the installation sections of the stronghelp manual if you're
  14. installing NewsHound for the first time.

  16. Most of the documentation is now in StrongHelp format. StrongHelp is not
  17. included, but is available from:
  18. http://login.eunet.no/~guttorvi/strong.html

  20. If you have not already done so, you should upgrade to NewsBase 0.59c, from
  21. http://www.hep.umn.edu/~allan/newsbase/

  23. NewsHound upgrades will appear on:
  24. ftp://ftp.barnet.ac.uk/pub/Acorn/newshound/
  25. as they're produced.

  31. a) Transport:
  32.   Run !InstTrans to update the transport definition. (you don't need to
  33.     copy it out of the archive first).
  34.   
  35.   NB. If you manually installed the newsbase transport anywhere other than
  36.       !NewsDir.newsbase.transports, delete it!
  37.  
  38. b) NewsHound:
  39.   Just drag !NewsHound out of the archive over the top of your main copy.
  40.   It contains no config files, it will not wipe your current settings.
